The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the high demand for electricity, especially at peak hours, said: It seems that if the country’s power generation capacity increases to 70,000 megawatts, we have achieved a relative stability in the production sector and with considering the capabilities of the power industry, it seems that it can move ahead of the country and surpassed other industries.
The president argued that: Those who think that the country should be built by the government and using government funds should know that people and private sector built the country. He also spoke in an attempt to obtain a license to use foreign exchange facilities for the private sector, adding that: All government power is directed toward supporting private sector investment and transferring jobs and affairs to them.
