Kahnouj Without Plastic Campaign Started

With the effot of Students and co-ordination and co-operation of the Department of Education, Environment Protection office and Shobad Power Plant, the Pilot Campaign of Kahnouj Without Plastic began on April 27, 2019. The pioneers of this project were “Foroughe Danesh” and “Shohadaye DaneshAmouz” schools students.

Some of the goals of this plan are:

• Clean the environment from plastic and other permanent waste and create a suitable landscape.
• Cultivation in the field of production and consumption of waste plastics.
• Streamlining at community level and creating a sustainable environmental model in Kahnouj city.

According to the plan, the project will be pilot-run by the end of the summer and will be officially started from the beginning of the school year.
