Notification of Contract Award for the 12 MW Sarakhs Solar Power Plant

The construction contract for a 12 MW solar power plant in Sarakhs has been officially awarded under a power sales agreement on the Iran Energy Exchange’s Green Energy Board to MahTaab Dena Company.

The project is located in Razavi Khorasan Province and aims to develop clean electricity generation and increase the share of renewable energy in the national energy mix.

Under this contract, MahTaab Dena Company is responsible for the full execution of the project, including design, procurement of equipment, installation, and commissioning of the power plant. Project financing will be provided through mechanisms defined in the Green Energy Board of the Energy Exchange.

The contract award represents an important step toward expanding investment in renewable energy, improving electricity generation efficiency, and making optimal use of national resources.
