German Ambassador Visits Rudshur Power Plant

Axel Dittmann, the German Ambassador, accompanied by the embassy’s economic officer and a diplomatic delegation, visited the Rudshur Power Plant.

During the visit, the CEOs of Mahtab Gostar and Amir Kabir companies accompanied the guests and presented an overview of the MahTaab Group, its technical and investment capacities, development projects, and its activities in the energy production sector. Discussions were also held on potential areas of cooperation, expansion of economic relations, and opportunities for collaboration in energy and infrastructure.

The delegation also toured various sections of the Rudshur Power Plant, including production units, the combined-cycle steam section, the energy park, and the facility’s educational and cultural infrastructure. They became familiar with the plant’s capabilities, technologies in use, development approaches, and implemented measures in energy efficiency and corporate social responsibility.

As one of the country’s key power plants, Rudshur plays an important role in supplying electricity to the national grid, particularly for the Tehran region. The development of its steam section is considered a significant step toward improving efficiency, reducing fuel consumption, and optimizing power generation.
