Today, the MahTaab family mourns the loss of one of the most distinguished and influential figures in the country’s power generation sector, the late Mr. Ahmad Mashayekhi, a respected manager and veteran whose more than five decades of dedicated service significantly contributed to Iran’s electricity industry.

Mr. Mashayekhi began his professional career at Shahid Montazer Qaem Power Plant and, over the years, held various key positions including operations expert, head of operations, board member, and deputy for engineering and production. He later served as CEO of Qom and Shazand power plants, playing a major role in improving efficiency, stability, and development within the national power sector.

With his joining the MahTaab Group, a new chapter of valuable contributions began. His responsibilities included managing the Rudshur Power Plant, serving as Deputy for Operations of the MahTaab Group, CEO and Chairman of Amir Kabir and MahTaab Caspian companies, and acting as advisor to the CEO on operational affairs—positions that reflect both his professional standing and the deep trust placed in his expertise.

Beyond his managerial achievements, what truly defined his legacy was his mentorship, knowledge transfer, and role in training multiple generations of experts in the power industry. Many current managers and specialists in the sector had the honor of working under his guidance, and his scientific and ethical legacy continues within the industry.

Mr. Mashayekhi was a model of commitment, humility, responsibility, and professional ethics, and his memory will remain alive in the hearts of his colleagues and associates.

The MahTaab Group expresses its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and all industry professionals, and prays to Almighty God for his eternal peace and for strength and patience for his loved ones.

May his soul rest in peace and his path continue to inspire.
