Cleanup Program in Mish Podom Valley, Faryab County

A cleanup program for the “Mish Podom” valley in Faryab County—one of the remarkable natural landscapes in southern Kerman Province—was held on 12 May 2026, in cooperation with the Kaveh Mountaineering and Canyoneering Club of Jiroft County, the Mountaineering and Sports Climbing Federation of Faryab County, and a group of employees from Mahtab Kohanouj Power Generation Company.

The Mish Podom valley, with its pristine scenery, rocky cliffs, and attractive canyoning routes, is considered one of the valuable natural and tourism assets of Faryab County. Its protection requires collective participation and responsibility.

During the program, participants visited different sections of the valley and, along dry and watercourse paths, collected plastic waste and cleaned the natural environment of the area.

The initiative aimed to promote environmental protection culture, raise public awareness about the importance of conserving natural resources, and encourage tourists and local communities to preserve the region’s natural beauty so that this valuable heritage can remain sustainable for future generations.
