Cleanup Program of the Azali Natural Area on Environment Week
On the occasion of Environment Week, a cleanup program for the Azali natural area was held on Monday, 8 June 2026, with the participation of employees from the Shobad and Kohanouj power plants, the Environmental Protection Department of Kohanouj County, and the county Health Center.
During the program, participants visited different sections of the area and collected waste scattered in nature, while emphasizing the importance of protecting natural resources and highlighting the role of public and organizational participation in environmental conservation.
The implementation of this program was carried out as part of corporate social responsibility initiatives, aiming to raise environmental awareness, promote a culture of nature protection, and strengthen a sense of responsibility toward the surrounding environment. The Azali natural area, as one of the valuable natural assets of southern Kerman Province, requires continuous attention and care to preserve its biodiversity and natural beauty.
This initiative stands as a symbol of effective cooperation between industrial sectors, government agencies, and local communities in the path toward environmental protection and sustainable development, underscoring the importance of collective participation in safeguarding the country’s natural capital.
