Rudshur Power Plant, Among the Top Power Plants in Contributing to Power Grid Frequency Control

Based on the technical assessments conducted by the Iran Grid Management Company during the second two-month period of 1405, Rudshur Power Plant demonstrated outstanding performance in frequency control and maintaining the real-time balance between power generation and consumption. As a result, it was ranked among the top units contributing to frequency stability across the national power grid and was recognized for its performance.

Frequency control and stability are among the most important indicators of the performance and stability of the power grid. Given the increasing complexity of the grid, changes in generation and consumption patterns, and the expansion of renewable energy resources, the effective participation of power plants in this process has become increasingly important. In this context, power plants equipped with technical readiness and rapid response capabilities play a vital role in maintaining the balance between generation and consumption and ensuring grid stability.

Rudshur Power Plant’s inclusion among the top-performing units demonstrates the technical capabilities and operational readiness of the facility, as well as the continuous efforts of its personnel in ensuring reliable operation and providing an effective response to the needs of the power grid. The plant’s strong dynamic response to frequency variations highlights its significant role in supporting the stability of the national power grid.

This achievement represents a valuable accomplishment for Rudshur Power Plant and MahTaab Group and underscores the importance of continued investment in enhancing technical capabilities, increasing unit readiness, and developing the infrastructure required to maintain the stability of the country’s power grid.
