Shobad Power Plant Receives the Green Industry Award and Certificate of Appreciation

The 25th National Conference on Green Industry, Mining, and Services was held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, with the participation of the First Vice President of Iran, the Head of the Department of Environment, the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, and the Government Spokesperson at the International Conference Hall of the Department of Environment.

At the conference, the Green Industry Award and Certificate of Appreciation, based on the performance evaluations for 2024 and 2025, were presented by the Department of Environment to Shobad Combined-Cycle Power Plant. This achievement was the result of the power plant’s continuous efforts and performance in complying with environmental requirements, managing pollutants, and promoting sustainable development.

In the 25th edition of the conference, 287 facilities from across the country participated in the evaluation process, with 31 facilities ultimately receiving the Green Industry title. Shobad Power Plant’s inclusion among the selected facilities demonstrates its strong position in complying with environmental standards and its commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities toward the environment and the surrounding community.
