Introduction
Due to immediate demand of the region, by creating a company in partnership with Sarakhs Special Economic Zone, Shams Sarakhs Power Generation Company proceeded for construction of a 50 MW power plant in Sarakhs. The first and second units connected to the Grid in 2013 and the third unit in 2017.
Objectives
- To supply part of electricity demand of Country
- To compensate for regional network voltage drop in west of Khorasan Razavi province
