The Persian Fallow Deer, which was in danger of extinction, was saved by the actions taken by the Environmental Protection Organization. This valuable species was revived in Ashk Island of Lake Urmia, and then with the increase in population, some of them were transferred to their historical habitat in the Zagros basin.

Tadbir Sazan Saramad Company has announced its financial and moral support for this endangered species through a long-term cooperation agreement with the Environmental Protection Organization of West Azerbaijan Province, and this cooperation continues.

According to this memorandum, Urmia Combined Cycle Power Plant is committed to participate in the restoration of the habitat of the Persian Fallow Deer, as well as to meet the protection and maintenance needs of this valuable species.
